Church of the Epiphany and St. Rose of Lima news

On Saturday, May l6 an exiting event took place at the Church of the Epiphany. At 10 that morning, 19 children celebrated the Eucharist and the Sacrament of Confirmation. The Bishop of the Rochester Diocese, Bishop Matthew Clark was the Presider.

Everyone who met him, the young and the elderly, seemed to be in awe of him. The children celebrating their confirmation were honored to have him preside. After the celebration at the Church, Bishop Clark patiently posed for pictures with the children and their families.

Ann Wilkin did an excellent job preparing the children and their sponsors. Things went perfectly. A reception was held in the children's honor. Each child who had been confirmed received a certificate, a bracelet and a Bible. The Confirmation candidates were as follows:
