Quilt Raffle planned in Marion

The Women's Guild of the United Church is planning a quilt raffle in conjunction with the Annual Church Bazaar on November 14.

The quilt top was donated to the Guild, and Shirley Ameele volunteered to do the quilting as her contribution to the Bazaar. Under her direction, a "bee" took place in the Church dining room one afternoon in April, and the quilt was assembled and basted together by Guild members.
