The Last Rose of Summer

The Winspear-Hallagan-Gulnac house provides a backdrop for this photo of a hearty last rose of summer. The house, located on West Maple Avenue has been in the same family since it was built at the turn of the century. At one time, the home was powered by direct current, provided by a turbine, which was powered by a waterfall at the rear of the property. (J. Zornow photo)
