Bee Tee's burger travels to Texas

On October 14, Bee Tee's Drive-In in Newark had an unusual request. Could they send a Hollywood Burger with the works to Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas?

Sara Sewert was traveling to the base to visit her fiance, Jamie Dunn. He requested that she bring along a Hollywood Burger from Bee Tee's Drive-In on Route 31 East. Employees at Bee Tee's prepared the burger and wrapped each of the items separately, including the hot sauce. Sara and her mother put it in the refrigerator of their motorhome and made the two-day trip to Texas.

When they arrived they heated the burger, put it all together and surprised Jamie with his Hollywood. He said, "I can't believe you did this. Bee Tee's burgers are the best even in Texas."

Bee Tee's would like to thank Jamie for being such a faithful customer even though he is so far away.

(And if this makes you hungry, you'd better hurry over there - Bee Tee's closes for the season on Saturday, Nov. 14.)
