Community service day in Clyde

Caring Frinds WC Youth Program sponsored an 8th grade community service day on Nov. 2. About 80 students, Mrs. Morell, the Core Group of teachers, and eight parents attended.

Areas covered were Clyde Village Park, Savannah, Clyde Police Dept., Maple Hill Rest Home, Galen Library, Clyde Elementary School, Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd.

Caring Friends provided lunch - pizza, pop, cider, chips, apples and donuts - which was served by the Ladies Auxiliary of Clyde Fire Dept.

Caring Friends Youth Program is funded by the State DFY with matching funds from the Village of Clyde.
