Newark Tree lighting set

On December 4, the Greater Newark Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Newark Central Park. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will include a visit from Santa Claus.

Following the ceremony, Santa will be proceeding to the Alex Eligh Community Center to hear the holiday wishes of the children. Other activities will include a coloring contest for grades K-3. Refreshments will be served.

There is no cost for these activities, but non-perishable food donations for the Newark Food Closet will be accepted.
