Fisher selected a Lump Sum payment, which brought the winnings to over $10 million - after taxes, his check will be for about $7 million. He bought his ticket at Tom Jones, selecting his six winning numbers from uniform numbers of his favorite Yankee baseball team members.

His reply, "Nervous."

He said he will continue to work for the U.S. Postal service "as long as (he has) a job" and will use the money to pay bills and his son's college loans.

When asked why he chose the Lump Sum option, he told reporters, "Because I didn't know if I'd live another 20 years."

Fisher lives in Lyons with his wife, Delores, and their three children.
