Canal Center seeks auction items

The Erie Canal Cultural Center will hold an auction Saturday, October 17, 4 p.m., at the Center, 165 Water Street, Lyons.

Donations of collectibles, antiques, working electronics and appliances will be accepted at the Center on October 3 and 10, from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Contributors of auction items should use the east parking lot and enter the building through the green double doors.

If it is not possible for a donation to be made during these times, an appointment for a convenient time may be made by contacting Peg Churchill, Executive Director, (315) 946-0360.

Donations are also being accepted at Literacy Volunteers, located at the Cultural Center, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., up until the auction on October 17.
