Historical Society looking for volunteers

Andrea Evangelist, Executive Director at the Wayne County Historical Society, is looking for volunteers to work at the Museum.

The assignments available at the museum don't necessarily require a large commitment of time and can provide an interesting outlet for anyone's energy, regardless of the person's age, talent or background.

Evangelist said, "It is really a perfect opportunity for teenagers who are adding to their list of community service activities, retired persons who now have more free time, or anyone who wants to be involved and give back to the community."

The Society is looking for help in the following areas: cataloguing artifacts, conducting Museum tours, computer data entry, clerical/receptionist duties, and assistance with craft classes. For more information, contact the Museum office at 946-4943.
