The DeMay Living Center at ViaHealth of Wayne's Newark Campus is inviting children to trick-or-treat on Saturday, October 31.

DeMay, located at 100 Sunset Drive (off of West Pearl Street) in Newark, will be open from 6-7 p.m. for all ghosts and goblins and their parents to visit and receive treats from DeMay Living Center residents and staff. The event is targeted for children under age 9, but all children under age 12 are invited.

"It would be great to have a lot of kids come in to trick-or-treat," stated Chet Nedvesky, administrator of the DeMay Living Center. "The residents would really enjoy seeing the kids all dressed-up in their Halloween costumes. This was a successful event last year and parents really appreciated having a safe, indoor Halloween alternative. Families welcome a safe, fun place to bring their children, and the building is warm and dry on what can be a cold, rainy day."
