Sodus Intermediate School News
By Melissa White

- The Sodus Intermediate School has a new Student Council:

  • Rianna Mayou, President
  • Michelle Miller, Vice President
  • Matt Carpenter, Treasurer
  • Kim Rawden and Christine Prahler, Secretaries
  • Nick LaDucca, Sergeant of Arms

Congratulations to all of them.

- Don't forget the schools are collecting box tops again this year, so check your cereal boxes.

-We don't like to think about it just yet, but it will be snowing again. The Brantling Ski will be having a sale on Sunday November 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Information will be coming out soon for students who want to learn to ski. The season will begin December 1.

- Sixth Grade students had a walk-a-thon for D.A.R.E. on October 10. Students, with the supervision of Sergeant LaClair, walked four miles, then went to the American Legion for a pizza party.

- The Intermediate School has new teachers:

Mr. Egan is the new Music Teacher. Mrs. Gibson is the new fourth grade teacher. Mrs. Rothwell is the new Fifth Grade Teacher; Mrs. Cancelli the new sixth grade Special Education teacher; and, of course, Mr. Burns is back in the Intermediate School as the Principal.

- Keep having fun and learn something new everyday!
