Still recovering from storm

It will take weeks to clear debris from the storm that ripped through here early Monday morning. Schools opened in Newark this morning, but are still closed in Lyons, Clyde-Savannah, Red Creek and Clyde-Savannah. Power has been restored to most Newark/Arcadia residents, but portions of Lyons and Clyde are still without service. The County-wide State of Emergency was lifted at 6 a.m. this morning, but motorists should still avoid Lyons and Clyde - tree limbs dangle from wires and branches, and power lines are still down across sidewalks, driveways and streets. click photo for full size version
