Newark Schools open

Yes, it was late coming, but the first day of school in Newark was yesterday. Opening day was set for Tuesday, but delayed due to the windstorm that ripped through the area early Monday morning.

The re-opening of several neighboring schools may be delayed until Monday.

(As of this morning, there were still areas of Lyons and Clyde without electric power.)
