Our journey to Lancaster

The morning gray sky turned to blue as we traveled toward Lancaster, PA on our start of a three-day bus trip. A few sprinkles on the way didn't dampen spirits as we were excited and hungy - eager for the coffee stop.

Arriving around 3 o'clock at the American Music Theatre we hustled in to see a marvelous production, Country Nights - City Lights, of such color, such strong voices, such energy! Our supper was at the "Good and Plenty" Restaurant and we ate good and plenty! Shopped for Christmas gifts at their gift shop before a jaunt to the QVC Outlet store and bedtime. Our QVC Studio tour was so informative. The park covers the area of 17 football fields. We saw the sets from which certain programs are broadcast. The garage set even has a car parked there, and the kitchen set was ready for a food program with yummy arrangements sitting on the counter. Just outside is the patio set where they prepare those delicious BarBQ's and show the garden features.

Have you ever traveled on an ark? Perhaps joining Noah and his family might be an idea. The play, NOAH, was breathtaking! Real animals and animated ones along with elaborate sets. You must see this production. It is truly indescribable!

Our stop at the Crayola factory was a fun stop where we picked up some colorful things for the folks back home. Conversation was lively, in the back of the bus, the meals were wonderful and plentiful, a wonderful trip - THANKS to Stanley and Isabelle Bushart.
