At the Church of the Epiphany The Church of Epiphany has been busy lately with the Parish Picnic, Euchre party, work party for grades 6-l2, and other events. The First Annual Epiphany/St. Rose Golf Tournament was a great success. The Wolcott American Legion hosted the pig roast for the Church. The Bible Study group has started again from 7-8 pm. It will continue until the First Sunday of Lent. The group meets every Tuesday evening except for the third week of the month. The sessions are led by Ann Wilkin, Deacon Ed Sergeant and Father Dave Faraone. If planning to attend, please bring your Bible. The RCIA will begin Wednesday, September 30 from 7:15-8:45 p.m. in the Parish Center. If you are interested in the Catholic Church please call Father Dave or Ann Wilkin at 483-6111. The weekday Liturgies will be as follows: Monday 8 a.m., Tuesday 7 a.m., Wednesday 8 a.m. (followed by a coffee discussion), Thursday 7 a.m. and Friday 8 a.m. (The summer schedule will be changed back next summer when the 'crowds' return to the Point. At that time there will be a weekday liturgy at Saint Rose as well.) Faith Formation Classes will begin Sunday, September 27 at 10:30. Ann is taking registrations. Faith Formation Schedules for September and October are as follows: Sunday classes are from 10:30 -11:30, Sept. 27, Oct. 4, 11, 1 and 25. Wednesday Classes are from 6-7 p.m. Sept. 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28. Faith Formation Classes are fun and a wonderful way to learn about your Faith. Many times the students are having so much fun they don't realize that they are learning at the same time. (This is the first year that I haven't taught the second grade and I'm really going to miss it. I found it rewarding, and as each child went up for their first Communion, I was proud.)
