NHS Homecoming Candidates

leisinringThe 1998 Newark King and Queen candidates are: Cheryl Leisenring, Teresa Zappia, Amy Hares, Katie Antonucci; Jess Kidder (not pictured), Jason Sloane, Josh Herman, and Randy Peters.

Josh is the son of Bill and Lisa Herman, and Dee and Andy Bodine. He resides at 102 Chestnut Street and has majors in math, science, and technology.

Josh is on the Varsity football, basketball and baseball teams. He plans to attend college, continuing with his athletics, and pursuing a career in sports management.

haresJess is the son of Mike and JoAnn Kidder of 212 Pierson Ave. He attends Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES in the electronic training department. He is a member of the Varsity football team, and in his spare time he enjoys weightlifting. Jess plans on attending college, but is unsure where.

Randy is the son of Scott and Cheryl Peters of 2374 Rt. 88 North. He is majoring in technology. He enjoys hanging out with his friends. Randy is undecided on future plans.

Jason is the son of Greg and Deb Sloane. He resides at 237 Grace Ave. He has majors in math science, German, and English. His activities include Varsity basketball and baseball, Varsity Club, German Honor Society, and working at Wendy's. He plans on attending a four-year college, pursuing a career in physical therapy or athletic training.

katieKatie is the daughter of Bob and Jill Antonucci. She resides at 405 Sycamore Trail. She has majors in math, science, English, Spanish, and art.

Katie is active in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Natural Helpers, Peer mediation, Youth to Youth, TARS, and is president of Student Council. She is also a member of the Varsity football and basketball cheerleading squads, lacrosse, and works at Showplace 5. Katie plans on attending Cornell, Ithaca or Penn State to major in science or political science.

Amy is the daughter of Lori and Jerry Hares. She resides at 1335 Floodman Road, Palmyra. She has majors in science, math, Spanish and music.

TheresaAmy is a member of the Varsity volleyball team, is active in SADD, and works at Subway. She plans to go to school of Culinary Arts.

Cheryl is the daughter of Marie and Don Leisenring, of 110 Burnham Street. She has majors in art, English, math and science.

Cheryl participates in National Honor Society, and works at Eckerd Drugs and WCTA. She plans on attending college at NYU to major in graphic design and minor in psychology.

Teresa is the daughter of Judy and Jerry Zappia of 213 Pine Blvd. She has majors in math, science, and a double major in music.

kings candidatesTeresa's activities include vocal jazz, National Honor Society, Varsity soccer, Student Council, Varsity lacrosse, German Honor Society, and she works at Showplace 5.

Teresa plans on attending Nazareth College, majoring in physical therapy.
