"Up The
Down Staircase"
next week

The Newark High School Drama Club will present Bel Kaufman's, "Up The Down Staircase" on October 8, 9, and 10 at the Newark Middle School auditorium. Performances will begin at 8 p.m. each night.

Advanced reserved tickets are available at both the High School and Middle offices at cost of $4. Tickets at the door will be $5. The play is directed by Steve Duprey.

The cast members are:

J.J. McHabe is played by Richard Austin; Paul Barringer - Josh Backus; Samuel Bester - Matthew Klemann; Dr. Maxwell Clarke - Andy Wildey.

Sylvia Barrett is portrayed by Emily Howard, and Gretchen Snedeker plays Bea Schachter; Sadie Finch - Lisa Ryckbost; Charlotte Wolf - Katrina Quigley; Ella Friedenberg - Sarah Chilson; Frances Egan - Jess Bryant; Ellen - Sara Skinner.

Joe Ferone - Bill Hammon; Harry Kagan - Jamie Bialek; Charles Arrons - Andy Sloane; Rusty O'Brien - Andrew Boeckmann; Lou Martin - Jason Holder; Lennie Neumark - Ryan Lynn; Jose Rodriguez - Elliot Iocco.
