Some of the folks who attended Odosagih Bible Conference met at the home of Walt and Marlene VanderBeek on Harris Road for dinner and reminiscing. A huge ham was enjoyed by all, as well as scalloped potatoes, Marlene's delicious homemade rolls and other goodies. A birthday cake after dinner honored several people who had birthdays in February and March. We sang Happy Birthday to each one! Attending were Carol Boerman, Stan and Isabelle Bushart, Hazel VanHall, John and Mary Marsille all of Marion. Out of town guests present were Conference Director Roger White and his wife Mary Ann from Machias, Virginia and Judy York from Greenwood and Rochester, Ken and Ann Palmer from East Aurora and Marlene Keam of West Seneca. The Elementary School Fourth Grade Band will present a spring concert in the auditorium at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7. Have a Blessed Easter - Easter is a day of joy commemorating Jesus Christ's resurrection from the dead. Worship services in flower decked churches with magnificent music mark the day. But even before the Christian era, there was spring time festivals marking the end of winter and the return of new life to the earth. Copyright © 1999 |
