EPCS plans string quartet concert

On April 9 at 7:30 p.m., East Palmyra Christian School will present "Dances and Classics," an evening of chamber music with the Genesis String Quartet. All are welcome. Audience members are invited to come and listen and even try a string instrument afterwards.

The quartet will be performing a number of 16th-century dance tunes, classics by Beethoven and Brahms, mesmerizing African music, and a piece by film score composer Michael Nyman inspired by South African Indian Dances.

The Genesis String Quartet includes Beth Bultman (violin), Katie Worley (violin), Kyle Bultman (viola), and Brian Hodges (cello). The concert will be held in the EPCS gymnatorium and a free-will offering will be taken.

East Palmyra Christian School is located on Port Gibson Road in the village of East Palmyra.
