Wayne County Fair Pageant is Friday

On April 9, the Wayne County Fair Queen and Princess Pageant will be held at Marion High School. The festivities begin at 7 p.m. and 34 ladies, ages 12-17, will be vying for the title of Wayne County Fair Queen and/or Princess. The winners will reign with their court over the 144th Wayne County Fair, held August 9-14 in Palmyra.

Contestants are judged on poise, character, and personality, with a major portion of their score based on a interview conducted by the judges prior to the pageant. Admisson to the pageant is free.
