Logjams on the Ganargua

Last week's spring weather provided an opportunity for officials to take to the skies via a State Police helicopter, to document logjams in Mud Creek (Ganargua River).

Rob Williams of the the Wayne County Soil and Water Conservation District and Arcadia Supervisor Dom Bartucca went along to see for themselves.

Logjams in the creek cause flooding and result in the erosion of farmland. State Police Major William Schusler helped schedule the helicopter for this project.
