The Wayne County Fair opened on Monday, with blue and sunny skies overhead. The
fairgrounds are on Jackson Street, Palmyra. 4-H exhibits were in place, harness racing
started shortly after noon, and the livestock was crowing, mooing and bleating. Pictured
is the 4-H display of the Golden Harvesters of Marion, and the Lyons Country Critters
display. The fair parade steps off at 7 this evening, with plenty of music and square
dancing at 8:30. |
