Lyons Farmers' Market events this Saturday

The Lyons Farmers' Market celebrates its 25th year Saturday, August 21, in the Village Park. The Lyons Fire Department will bring its Smoke House to show fire safety techniques.

A Rotary Pancake Breakfast is also scheduled, along with the Lyons Methodists' bake sale.

A special performance by the Actors' Workshop will begin at 9:30 a.m. This group of semi-professional actors has been touring the Finger Lakes this summer under the guidance of Jim Perri, professor of theater at Finger Lakes Community College. They will present the "Sundae Funnies" at 7 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church.

The Farmers' Market is open from 7:30 to 11 a.m. every Saturday through October. Click here for a schedule.
