Entries needed for juried art show

Wayne County Council for the Arts presents their first Harvest the Arts Small Works Juried Show. Opening October 12 and running until November 19, this exhibition is open to all visual artists working in all mediums. The maximum size is 20' x 20', including frame for 2-D pieces. Former Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center Director David Kwasigroh is the juror.

'With our arts and crafts show retired, this show seemed like the perfect event to resurrect the name,' noted Arts Council Director Kevin Schoonover referring to the Harvest the Arts Festival that the Arts Council has sponsored since 1995 in Pultneyville.

Slide deadline is September 24.

The application fee is $20 for three pieces ($15 for WCCA members). Cash prizes and an Arts Council exhibition opportunity will be awarded.
