Christmas concert Monday in Newark

St. Michael School will hold its annual Christmas Concert on Monday, December 20, at 7 p.m. in the Newark High School auditorium.

Kay Oosterling, the school's music teacher and choral director, has planned the following: Kindergarten will present a finger play, Three Little Christmas Trees and then join the first grade singing Christmas Is A Time. The following grades will sing: second - Ringing and Singing, third and fourth - Little Lamb, and fifth grade - Jingle Bells on their recorders.

St. Michael School's Singers and Ringers will perform Christmas Is ... Love, Christmas is the Best Time of the Year, and Angels We Have Heard on High.

The school band, directed by Jennifer Miller, will play Good King Wenceslas, Silent Night and Jingle Bell Rock.

There is no charge and everyone is welcome to the evening of Christmas entertainment.
