Contest will determine book cover The Wayne County Historical Society was recently notified that they will receive funding from the Wayne County Council for the Arts Decentralization Re-grant Program to create a Wayne County Activity Book. The book will contain 16 pages of creative, historically-based quizzes, puzzles, word searches, crossword puzzles and games. A county-wide contest will be held to find the winning design for the cover of the book and the winner will receive $50. The prize will be donated by McDonald's. The Wayne County Historical Society was one of 21 arts and cultural organizations who was awarded money by the Arts Council through the Decentralization Re-grant Program this year. Copyright © 1999 |
