Quilt rack raffle in Lyons The Lyons Public Library is raffling off a wooden quilt rack as a fundraiser for its building fund. The oak rack was hand crafted by Sam Baker of Alloway. Valued at $175, it is a reproduction of an antique quilt rack. There is also a small chest in the bottom of the rack for storage. The drawing will be held Saturday, February 12. Tickets are $1 each or five tickets for $4. The oak rack is on display at the library, at 67 Canal Street, Lyons. For more information call the library at 946.9262. Copyright © 1999 |
