The Sodus Bay Historical Society welcomed many to the Independence Weekend Celebration at the Sodus Point Lighthouse Museum.

The fun started Saturday with the opening of the art and craft market on the Light House lawn, and the Flea Market on the corner of Bay and Ontario Streets.

Saturday afternoon (before the rains came), the band 'Midnight Hour' performed in the Light House gazebo.

Sunday's festivities included the 5K Run, Breakfast on the Bluff, art, craft and flea market booths; The Upstate String Band; and Gap Mangione and his Big Band.
