Landscape drawings in Pultneyville

A series of landscape drawings and paintings by Carol Caffrey-Salace go on exhibit on July 11.

Based on the historic hamlet of Pultneyville, artwork will be on exhibit at the new home of the Pultneyville Historical Society, 4130 Hill St.

This show, titled Pultneyville: Reflections, History, Public and Private Spaces, runs through July 31.

A reception is planned for 3-6 p.m. on July 11. Regular hours are weekends from 2 - 4 p.m. or by appointment. Contact the artist at 589.8411 for details.

Historical photograph, of the sites depicted by Caffrey-Salce and a commentary by town Htistorian Chester Peters will accompany the artwork.

This project is made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts' Individual Artist (IA) Decentralization Program, which is administered locally by Wayne County Council for the Arts. The number at the Arts Council is 946.5078.
