July 26, 1956 - Two girls from Marion 4-H Clubs were among those chosen at the county 4-H dress revue held Saturday to represent the county at the district 4-H dress revue. They are Luncinda Hance of the Sunnysiders and Pauline Govenor of the Golden Twigs.

Remember: The Pioneer Gas Engine Association's Annual Show at the Marion Town Park on July 23-24. Antique gas engines, antique tractors and farm equipment and tools. There will be many demonstrations. Flea Market , refeshments stsatnd, daily parades. Admission will be $2.00 per person and childen under 12 are free.
