Bill Henline Memorial Poker Run

Chapter B of the Finger Lakes Gold Wing Road Riders Assn., an international organization of motorcyclists, announces its Bill Henline Memorial Poker Run.

The event will be held Sunday, August 1, starting at the Port Gibson firemen's field and covering about 75 miles.

Registration takes place from 9 until noon and the fee is $8 per person. Cash prizes will be awarded for winning poker hands, along with door prizes and raffles. Refreshments will also be available.

The runs honors Bill Henline, long time member of GWRRA, who passed away in October 1997. following a long battle with leukemia. Henline, who was well known throughout the Northeast and Canada, was an avid cyclist and owned and operated Cycle Genesis before his death.

Following last year's run, Chapter B donated $1000 in Henline's memory to the Hemotology Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. Proceeds from this year's run will be used in a similar manner.
