The Bubble Man visits Newark Library

Doug Rougeux, the Bubble ManDoug Rougeux, the Bubble Man, was in town Monday, amusing dozens of children at the Newark Public Library.

Doug has been an entertainer since 1984. He is a graduate of Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey's Clown College of Venice, Florida and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Buffalo. He has performed at Madison Square Garden, the Los Angeles Forum and the Louisiana Superdome. He has been seen in two CBS television specials, USA Today, Life magazine and two nationally released home videos including Ringling's The Greatest Clown Acts of All Time.

Doug toured Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia in 1992 and has entertained at schools, theaters, symphony halls, circus rings, malls, fairs, festivals, craft shows, libraries, nursing homes, day care centers and corporate functions in the Northeastern United States.
