4-H science camp registration

4-H membersYoung people have a curiosity about the world they live in. During the week of July 12-16, the Wayne 4-H Program will be hosting "Jr. Explorers in Science". Youth will engage in science activities and observations as they learn about their natural world around them.

The 4th annual 4-H Science camp will run daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Every day will be an adventure. Plans are underway to take a daily field trip to different areas of interest that use science in their every day work schedule.

4-H Jr. Scientists will be traveling to local wildlife areas to learn about Forest Rangers, Geneva Experimental Station to learn about insects, Rochester Museum and Science Center, Salmon Fish Hatchery, overnight camping and Oswego Energy Center.

The cost is only $75 for the week and anyone 10-14 can participate. Class size is limited so register quickly at Cornell Cooperative Extension Office at 1581 Rt. 88 N. Newark, NY 14513 (315) 331-8415.
