Newark Trail Works program

Trail Works Inc., a Wayne County based trails organization, invites the public to a presentation on Friday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Quality Inn, 125 North Main Street, Newark. The featured speaker will be Mr. Craig Della Perma of the National Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. Author of several trail-related books and a nationally recognized public speaker, Mr. Delta Penmi, who has made a career of promoting rail-trails, will use slides and other media to address the many issues surrounding trail development.

Trail Works, Inc., a Wayne County based volunteer trail organization founded in the spring of 1997, is devoted to the development of an interconnected trail system throughout Wayne County and the surrounding region. Trail Works members represent diverse trail interests such as hiking, bicycling, cross country skiing, off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, and equestrians. Trail Works hopes to create support for trail development through efforts like the March 12 presentation.
