Trickey named Newark Village Clerk On Tuesday afternoon, John T. Trickey of Newark was appointed Newark Village Clerk/Treasurer to fill a term that expires March 31, 2001. He will replace Mike Tonovitz, who has resigned effective April 1, 1999. Trickey's term shall be effective March 29, at a salary of $42,000 per year. His performance will be reviewed after six months on the job. If the review is satisfactory, Trickey will receive a $2000 raise.
