Thank you, everyone, who dropped off news for this column.

On March 10, 85 residents of Wayne County gathered at Maggie's Buffet in Bradenton, Florida for lunch. Much catching up and a great time.

Those attending represented Marion, Walworth, Palmyra, Newark, Lyons, Savannah, Williamson, Macedon, Wolcott, Sodus and Ontario. Marion residents attending were: Bob and Phyllis Dietz, Rog and Sheila Larwood, Art and Laura Tierson, Bob and Dorothy Lootens, Rod and Helen Adriaansen, Don and Shirley Ameele, Marvin and Loretta DeFisher, Don and Sheila Pezza and Fran and Marge DeWind.

Warren Bushart has returned home following knee surgery at the Sodus Hospital.

The Community Carnival is today, March 19. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Marion PTA Community Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. on March 27, at the elementary school gym.

Roast Beef Family Style Dinner is this evening at the Marion American Legion Home, 5-8 p.m.

Clara Schultz of Walworth is happy to announce the birth of another great-grandson, Hunter Lee, born on February 6 to Billy and Kathi Lyn Marsh of Virginia. Paternal grandparents are Rick and Karen (Schultz) Marsh of California and maternal grandparents are Bruce and Carole R. Raterink of Tennessee.

The ladies of the Eastern Star will be holding their annual Easter-time pancake breakfast on March 21. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., so you can go before or after your church services. The breakfast will be held at the Masonic Temple. Adults $3.50 and those under 12 years are $1.50. Presale is 10% off.

You have three more chances to take advantage of the delicious Lenten Fish Suppers offered by the Fairville Firemen. March 19, March 26, April 2. You have a choice of broiled or fried haddock, baked potato, coleslaw, applesauce, rolls, ice cream and beverages. Servings begin at 5 p.m. and continue until they are sold out. Take-outs are available.

Bill and Barb DeWandel have returned from a bus trip to Philadelphia where they attended the breathtaking FLOWER SHOW. They also toured the U.S. Mint, Independence Hall, Valley Forge area and gettig to see the historic Liberty Bell. They enjoyed a delicious dinner and show at the Lily Langtree Inn.

MARCH 22, 1951: Barbara DeFisher, Donna Dean, Dottie Norrison, Aldeen Bushart, Douglas Williams, Loretta Hall, David VanHoover, Elaine Decker won prizes in the blood bank poster contest at Marion Central.

The Modified girls basketball team had a glorious win over Gananda, in overtime, with a score of 21 to 20. Great job to Suzie, Danielle, Kasie, Hannah, Crissy Becky and Mary on the last game of the season. Special Thanks to Mrs. D. A. Katie Myers, Haley Starks and Jaret Schutt.

Doug and Jeanette Wessie and Gordie and Nancy Van Hall attended the Philadelphia Flower Show with the Wagon Train Trips group. They loved the flower show and the time spent at the Country Kitchen Village in Bird In Hand, PA. Jeanette was awarded a diploma for her expertise in the color dipping class.

Rebecca Lewis competed in the state for indoor track recently. She had her second best time ever! Congratulations on a great season.
