Arcadia artifacts sought for Museum

With the opening of the Arcadia Historical Museum not far off, the Board of Directors appeals to anyone who may have historical items they wish to donate.

It is known that there is a great amount of historical, business and ancestral material which has been handed down from generation to generation, or has been purchased, which could help in the visual education and research aspects of the Arcadia Museum.

People willing to donate are urged to either write a note to A.H.S. Accessioning Committee, P.O. Box 289, Newark, NY 14513 or call 331-4078 and give a message to Chris or to the answering machine.

Please be sure to give your name and telephone number or address and a brief description of the item or items involved. Someone will contact you soon afterward.

A substantial amount of artifacts are already "in hand" or promised, but until such time as there was space, an appeal for more was not logical.
