North Rose student's book for sale

The ABC Book: Looking at 175 Years of Wayne County was designed by North Rose student Kaylee Smith for her 1998 History Jamboree Project. This book has been reproduced by the Wayne County Historical Society and is on sale at the Society gift shop.

The publication gives an alphabetical pictorial listing of some of the more famous Wayne County sites, or pictures of artifacts that were manufactured or found in Wayne County. Alasa Farms (A), the Blockhouse in Clyde (B), and the Wayne County Courthouse (C) are only the first three pictures that will delight readers.

Each page in the spiral-bound, 30-page book has one or more black and white photos, a caption that describes the picture and the location of the historic landmark or artifact.

This creative book is a wonderful learning tool for students and would also be enjoyed by anyone who has an interest in Wayne County History. The limited edition sells for $5. For more information call 946-4943.
