Happenings Howard and Ruth Vice entertained their grandson, James Vice and his son Alex of Waterloo, at Sunday dinner. Gerry Ellsworth of Albany spent the weekend with his mother, Eunice of Sunset Drive. They attended the "Episode One of Star Wars" movie. May 30, 1935: The following MHS girls were guests of Keuka College at the 4th annual Play Day for Sub-freshman. Eunice Van Hall, Cornelia DeNeering, Violet Kellogg, Dorothy Sevor, Gertrude Shoales, Esther VanderPost, Marjorie Johnson, Betty Elve, Eleanor Otto, Helen Dean and Marjorie Lookup. The Athletic Awards Ceremony has been moved to Wednesday, June 2. CONGRATULATIONS! To Ted Routhfuss and Kathy Conger who were united in marriage at the United Church on May 15. Happy Birthday to Elsie Van Hoover on May 31. Her present address is the DeMay Living Center, Newark 14513. June 3-5 is the Fairville Fire Department Field Days - chicken barbecue and special price ride tickets on June 3. Amusement rides and parade on June 4th. Fireworks at 10:30 p.m. on June 5. The Marion Museum will be open from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 31 during our Memorial Day program. Caroline Bushart is recuperating at home following knee surgery. Stan and Isabelle Bushart enjoyed lunch in Medina with friend Bob Wolfe and granddaughter Jessica Leno. Later they visited Uncle Kenneth Blackmer, currently living at Oak Orchard Manor in Medina. Howard and Ruth attended the wedding of their granddaughter, Char Vice and Larry Bemish in their hometown of Massena.
