Blooming exhibit in Lyons Flowers: A Woman's Point of View will open on June 11 at Council for the Arts in Lyons. It is an exhibition by artist Jacqueline Pfaff-Pratt, known for her vivid colored-pencil drawings. This is the Red Creek High School art teacher's first one-woman show in Wayne County. She said, "My work is realistic with a strong interest in expression, color, form and symbolism. My favorite subject matter is natural objects, still lifes and landscapes. A reception is planned for 7 p.m. on June 11. Refreshments courtesy of Heluva Good Cheese will be offered. Flowers will be on display until July 2.
