Vietnam Veteran to speak at service
Invited guest speaker will be Gene Woodard, who was a Marine in Vietnam and is presently the Commander of Palmyra American Legion, James R. Hickey Post #120. Woodard is the recipient of two Purple Hearts, The Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, and Conspicuous Service Cross among others. Copyright © 1999 |

Mark Wyman, Marion Legion Post Audjant and Parade Marshal,
announces details on Marion's traditional Memorial Day Parade and Service. Line-up
for the Parade will be Monday at 4:30 p.m. with the step-off at 5 p.m. from the Firemen's
Field. Services will be held following the parade, at the Soldier's Monument at the Marion
Cemetery, and will continue at the Podium.
