Arcadia Democrats upset the GOP in yesterday's election, taking the supervisor's post and two council seats. Joe DeSanto unseated incumbent Dom Bartucca for a four-year term; incumbent Brenda Westcott retained her seat, and fellow Dem Tom Chappell will take the other seat. Incumbent Mike DeJohn and Gerry DeBarr trailed.

In other races, supervisor elections went to Tom Wetherell (Williamson), Leo Jenkins (Galen) and William Eddy (Macedon).
