Museum closes for recess The Wayne County Historical Society will close for winter recess on Decermber 12. The County Museum will remain closed to the public until January 4, 2000, when the museum will reopen at 10 a.m. From January 4 to January 14, staff and volunteers will be oiling the wooden furniture at the Musuem, washing woodwork and cleaning out closets and storage areas. Volunteers are needed to help with this project or to answer the phone while the staff members are busy. To offer your assistance or for more information contact the Society office at 946.4943.
