Local musicians to appear on FLTV

Sights and Sounds is a new program on Finger Lakes TV, Cable Channel 12. It will be airing Mondays at 7:30 and Saturdays 6:30 starting Dec. 6.

These half-hour shows highlight music filmed at the FLTV studio at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaguia. Sights and Sounds is the creation of Arcadian Productions.

The first show will be Natural Image, one of the newest country bands in the area, featuring vocalist Renee DeRue. You can hear them around upstate NY or, now, in the comfort of your own home. Other bands scheduled for the show are The Local Shepherds, The Chemicals and The Movers.

"Shortcuts" will also be presented during program hours. These are original music videos from the participating bands. More bands, music, other arts and local color will follow.
