Local Sportsmen meet

On Nov. 16 at the Sodus Bay Sportsmen's Club, the Wayne County Federation of Sportsmen held their monthly meeting.

A new position of Communications Officer was brought before the board and voted on unanimously in favor. William Brookover of Walworth was asked to fill the spot and accepted the position.

He brings to the Federation more than 25 years of shooting and outdoors experience. He is also a NYS Hunter Education Instructor, Endowment member in the National Rifle Association, Life member in SCOPE-Shooters Committee on Political Education and, at present, the President of the Williamson Conservation & Sporting Club.

Brookover's duties will include, but are not limited to, reporting on legislative issues affecting New York's outdoors by staying in contact with other environmental concerns throughout New York. He asks that you not hesitate to contact him on any matter which you may feel might affect New York's outdoors enthusiast.
