Local toastmasters plan open house

The Wayne Articulators Toastmasters Club of Newark invites you to an open house to celebrate 75 years of Toastmasters, thanks to its founder, Dr. Ralph C. Smedley.

The open house will be held at the Public Library, High Street, Newark, on Monday, on October 25 at 7 p.m.

What began as a simple means of training businessmen to give eloquent after-dinner toasts has developed into the world's leading organization devoted to teaching communication, effective listening and leadership skills. Toastmasters International now has 175,000 members in 8600 clubs in 68 countries.
