 Dragons make a splash at Victor

Ten Newark Dragons swimmers opened the Short Course (25 yard) Season with personal
best times at the Victor Invitational October 10. In the 10 and under age group, 29 of
32 swims were lifetime bests. In the 11 and over age group, 9 of 15 swims were lifetime
bests, and nearly all were in season bests (non-championship meets).
278 swimmers with 1140 entries from around the Niagara District participated. The 200
Medley group of Lauren Cole, Stacey DeCook, Martha Facer, and Cara Wilck took first place
in the event while the combination of Cole, DeCook, Facer, and Jenna Wood took first place
in the 200 Free Relay.
