On Wednesday, November 3, the Lyons High School Music Department will hold its first band concert of the year at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. There will be a variety of music from the Junior High, Senior High and Jazz Bands.

The Junior High Band will be performing three pieces, Colony Spirit Overture, Final Frontier and Voyager.

The Senior High Band will be playing three refreshing and bright pieces, A Symphonic Narrative, Bartok Sketches, and Forest Pines Overture.

The Jazz Band will get your feet moving with the theme from Northern Exposure (remember the moose?), Smack Dab in the Middle, and Change the World.

The public is invited to come and enjoy this evening of music. (Free admission!)
