All fifth-eighth graders and parents are invited to a forum on asset building. All community residents who are interested are welcome to attend. This will be in the high school cafeteria, Tuesday Nov. 9, from 7-8 p.m. Questions? Call 926.2300.

October 29: Special Youth Event from 8-11:30 p.m. at Shoeshine Johnny's Student Coffeehouse at 32 Mill St., Sodus.

Lindsey Jackson is recovering at home after an automobile accident.

John Milliman is recuperating at home following a stay at the hospital.

The next Marion Historic Assn. meeting, for all members and citizens, will be November 16 at 7 p.m. at the Marion Museum. Decorating and planning for the Dec. 4-5 open house will be discussed.

OCTOBER 28, 1954: Barbara Herzog and Marilyn Short, general chairmen of the Marion Central School senior class magazine drive, report that $3413.15 worth of magazines have been sold.

You still have time to support the Finger Lakes Community Cancer Center at Clifton Springs, and to enjoy a scary ride through the Haunted Woods and a jaunt through the Haunted Barn on Armington Road in Palmyra (off Route 21). All proceeds go for a worthy cause, the Cancer Center.
