E. Pal Christian School enrollment tops 100 The new year began with 97 EPCS students gathered for the opening assembly celebrating God's faithfulness in the main hallway. Add to that number the six or so pre-schoolers, and the East Palmyra Christian School community is experiencing its greatest enrollment ever.

"Our music program will move to the gym to allow last year's music room to be used for the seventh grade class." The school's population has steadily increased over the past number of years from 60 students in September 1995 to over 100 in 1999. Vanderzwan credits the increase to a desire on the part of Christian parents to seek out Christian education, as well as the smaller settings of the school. Students from surrounding school districts attend the school, which is parent-run and embraces Christian values. Copyright © 1999 |
